Alfred Pennyworth (1989)
Todd released a Michael Gough Alfred figure with his version of the ’95 Batmobile. And it’s fairly awful. He repainted a Joker suit, which is entirely incorrect for this Alfred. Mr. Gough never wore anything even remotely similar during the four films he appeared as Alfred. I could not let (read more...)
Alexander Knox (1989)
Not every custom is a great success. Sometimes you aim for close and then take what you can get. This project started when I stumbled across a 3D-sculpt of Knox by david-rL7MtH8N on Cults3D. I probably should have just printed that statue at 1:10 scale and been done with (read more...)
Arkham Asylum (1:12)
Long-time viewers will recall my paper craft Arkham Asylum playset I designed many years ago. It worked well for the smaller scale, and served its purpose admirably. Now it’s time for the 1:12 line to get its Asylum. And that meant an upgrade in quality. Originally, I planned to simply (read more...)
Arkham Asylum Sign (BTAS)
This fantastic Arkham Asylum sign was digitally sculpted by HUGH017 on Cults3D. The set of files contains both a screen accurate version (see here), and a Kenner homage. I simply scaled it to be big enough for a 1:12 Batmobile to pass through. (There’s a scene in “Lock Up” that (read more...)
Batcomputer (BTAS 1:6)
Another inspired 3D sculpt by RMYERSCAD! No, you are not looking at the 1:12 Batcomputer released by DC Direct back in the day. RMYERSCAD digitally sculpted his own, and was so accurate it looks strikingly similar. I’m quite please with the DC Direct version, so I certainly do not need (read more...)
Batmobile (Arkham Asylum Game 2009)
Another Batmobile sculpted by digitallyforgeddesigns! This time it’s the 2009 Arkham Asylum game version. For this Batmobile project I switched from resin to filament. Some of the curves aren’t as smooth, but the pieces are more uniform and fit better. (Not to mention the whole thing is cheaper.) Despite its (read more...)
Duckmobile (v2)
This version of Penguin’s Duckmobile was sculpted by kari9401 on CGTrader. Once I was able to finally print with filament successfully, this was at the top of my list. While not entirely screen accurate, it is much closer than my “customized the old fashioned way” version I made a few (read more...)
Wayne Gravestones
These were gravestones were digital sculpted by HUGH017 on Cults3D. The set of files contains a BTAS version, as well as the “Mask of the Phantasm” design. While these are specific to the animated series, they would easily work for any style of Gotham. Printed in Bambu filament on a (read more...)
Caprice (Bombshell)
WARNING! This post may be considered NSFW. Proceed accordingly. Enrico Marini is a talented French writer and artist. He’s the brilliant mind behind “Noir Burlesque,” a comic book tale that emulates film noir of the 1940s. The femme fatale of the narrative is Caprice. Noir and pin-up? Right down my (read more...)
Lady Blackhawk (Bombshell II)
WARNING! This post may be considered NSFW. Proceed accordingly. Exclusive3DPrints offers some great pin-up sculpts via their Patreon. While many are too spicy for my shelves, I can still make use of some of the heads. Such was the case with their “pin-up pilot.” Seemed like a perfect match for (read more...)
