For once, I don’t Todd is to blame for getting so much of this figure wrong. My understanding is that the original costume design was mostly black and grey, but was digitally changed to blue and metallic late in the process. That’s not Todd’s fault.
Like every other customizer who collects this line, I applied some heavy mettalic dry brushing where it was needed. Repainted the maintle blue. And I might have replaced the head with a 3D print. I honestly can’t remember if I did or not!
I bought the cape on… ebay? I really should start taking notes. I wanted a wired cape that could flare out while he was riding the Batcycle. Removing the mantle without destroying it involved a heat gun and patience. And the new cape doesn’t sit as flush underneath as I’d like. But it works.
