Not much to see here, folks. Just a repainted face. Seems Mattel’s cost-cutting efforts include dropping basic features like EYEBROWS. (And properly painted eyes and lips.)
I didn’t want to paint the whole figure, so I masked off the body and sprayed the head and hair with Dullcote. This acted as an “invisible” primer on her face, giving the brushed on acrylic something to adhere to. The flesh tone I use is particularly opaque, which covered her poorly painted features nicely. A few coats and she’s acceptable for shelf duty.
Created Spring 2007

Basic: Some modified parts. Mostly a new paint job.
Moderate: New and modified parts.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
