This is another “hey, everybody else is doing it” project. It involves merging McFarlane’s “infected” Superman with a regular Supes. The infected body is the superior sculpt compared to the first Superman release. The only question is why hasn’t Todd himself offered us this combination?
The body is an infected Superman. The head, cape, and hands come from the “Action Comics 1,000” Supes. Some modifications had to be made to the underside of the cape to make it fit. I painted the cape to match the infected reds. My only real change came to the black in the S-shield, which I chose just to create some variety on my shelf. (I am old enough to remember when that was cutting edge in Kingdom Come, and used in the mainstream comics post-Our Worlds At War.)
Created May 2021

Easy: A simple parts swap. Little if any paint.
Moderate: New and modified parts.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
Advanced: All of the above, plus a great deal of original sculpting.
