As of 2024, there has never been a really solid generic/comic version of Poison Ivy produced in a 1:12 or 1;10 scale. Sure, there have been some excellent story and/or artists specific versions, like my beloved Bombshell Ivy, but never a good basic version. (Mattel tried one late in their tenure. The less said about that one the better.)
For years I’ve been tinkering on a basic Ivy. She is surprisingly difficult to capture. What you see here is probably the fourth or fifth version.
Two pieces came together to really sell me on this recipe. The first was the torso. I’d been trying to craft or print a torso with just a few leaves on it, but nothing I tried worked well enough. I asked Metaverse Customs if he had anything in his arsenal of 3D parts, and he whipped up the upper torso you see here. (Sadly, he seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth. Where are ya, buddy?)
The second puzzle piece was the head, sculpted by stl.custom.collections via Patreon. (He does excellent work and you should consider subscribing.) Printed with Siraya Tech Fast Grey resin on an Elegoo Jupiter.
The rest of the body and legs are a DC Direct Essential Harley Quinn. The arms are from a Bombshells Hawkgirl. I think the only “manual editing” required was a little Magic Sculpt around the top of the abdomen, to help it align better with the chest.
