A modern, generic, 6″-scale Lois Lane figure has been on my to-do list for a long time. In fact, I’ve had the base body for over a year, just waiting the chance to get used. The base body in question is “Supermom,” part of the “Happy Worker” line of figures. This line features some great “civilian” body types. When Supermom was released, I knew I’d found the base for Lois.
Lois’s head is a casting of DC Direct’s Infinite Crisis Power Girl head. I thought it made for a stylish and sexy Lois, once the hair was changed to black. The rest is just paint.
Created Spring 2007

Easy: A simple parts swap. Little if any paint.
Moderate: New and modified parts.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
Advanced: All of the above, plus a great deal of original sculpting.
