When I started thinking about making some “Beware the Batman” characters, I hadn’t considered Lady Shiva. And then I realized how much she already looked like the animated DC Direct Wonder Woman figure. It was like a direct invitation. How could I refuse?
I started by dremeling off most of Wonder Woman’s sculptural details. Magic Sculpt was applied to create the new costume details, like the gauntlets, belt, boots, etc. The two arm bands are simply strips of clear vinyl. The shoulder piece is shaped from ProCreate, and is removable when the head is popped off. Wonder Woman’s hair had to be completely removed and replaced using ProCreate. The cape is cut from vinyl and glued to the shoulder piece.
Created September 2020

Easy: A simple parts swap. Little if any paint.
Basic: Some modified parts. Mostly a new paint job.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
Advanced: All of the above, plus a great deal of original sculpting.
