This Arcee model was originally released in Japan many years ago. I ended up with a recast, and it’s been sitting in the closet for a long time. I finally dragged it out to finish, and I’m pretty happy I did so! (Note: I do not normally condone using recasts, but given that this thing has been out of print for well over a decade, maybe two decades, I’ll make an exception.
The cast suffered from some air bubbles. You can see in the photos I didn’t catch them all. Honestly, I just patched up the worst offenders and let the rest slide. But otherwise, Arcee held her shape well. A screen-accurate paint job and she’s ready for the shelf!
Created Spring 2010
