(Spoilers for “Batman: White Knight” ahead.)
One of the many things I love about Sean Gordon Murphy’s “Batman: White Knight” is the twist on Harley; there are, in fact, TWO Harleys running around! It’s a brilliant solution to resolve a character that has grown so far past her roots she’s essentially two different people. Simply brilliant.
In the course of the story, Marian Drews abandons her Harley persona and becomes Neo Joker, the primary antagonist of the story. I really hope McFarlane produces this character. Until then, this will have to do.
Once again, I needed to find a female base figure wearing pants. The WWE Stephanie McMahon worked well. Once the jacket was removed, I sculpted the shirt and vest from Magic Sculpt. The straps and buckles were cut from vinyl. The flower came from a Bombshells Poison Ivy. I yanked out Stephanie’s arms at the swivel joint below the shoulder, and replaced them with arms from a DC Essentials Harley. (I had to build a new swivel joint using a styrene rod as a peg.) The same Harley donated her shoes, with additional sculpting added. The head is a Marvel Legends Wasp, with lots of messy hair aded via Magic Sculpt.
The backpack is from an old Mattel Catwoman. It didn’t quite fit, but I extended the straps over the shoulders and now it works fine. I resculpted the back to fit her two knives. It’s not entirely page accurate, but it’s gets the point across.
I guess I should give her a Clayface brain to carry around.
