Captain Cold

When McFarlane releases character designs that are not based on previously existing material, the results are often… lackluster, at best. Old Leonard Snart here is a perfect example. The result was closer to a Cobra Snow Viper than Captain Cold. And yet, with just a few tweaks, the figure can be made into a reasonable approximation of a proper Captain Cold.
He’s 85% just a repaint. I got rid of the Cobra viper head, and replaced it with a random head from fodder supplies. I then used ProCreate to shape a removable, textured mantle over the upper torso. The new freeze gun is from a NECA Flash Gordon.

Easy: A simple parts swap. Little if any paint.
Moderate: New and modified parts.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
Advanced: All of the above, plus a great deal of original sculpting.
