Shayera Hol (Wake the Dead)

Hawkgirl has turned out to be one of my favorite characters on Justice League. I love her no-nonsense attitude! I found her character development from Justice League to Justice League Unlimited very interesting. Given that, I wanted to make a figure of Shayera as she appeared in “Wake the Dead.”
The base is an animated Witchblade figure. The hair was removed and rescultped, using the back portion from a Hawkgirl figure. The wings, arms and mace are also from a regular Hawkgirl.
Overall, a fairly simple piece, but a fun one all the same.

Easy: A simple parts swap. Little if any paint.
Basic: Some modified parts. Mostly a new paint job.
Skilled: Lots of new and modified parts. “Frankensteining” often involved.
Advanced: All of the above, plus a great deal of original sculpting.
