It’s time for another amazing sculpt by the ever-lovin’ Glassman! The man is a talent, through and through, and a gentleman to boot.
G-man was once again kind enough to share cast copies of one of his creations with others, and I leapt at the chance. I’d tried several times over the years to create a Jimmy Olsen figure, but I never got far before I ditched the project (only to try again later). Jimmy is a difficult sculpt to capture. I’m pleased to say Glassman managed what I could not. What you see here is my painted rendition of Glassman’s sculpt.
A note about the camera: Glassman also provided a cast of a tiny camera. In the show, it’s often a typical black, but at least once (maybe more often), it appeared as this mix of greys and blues. That caught my eye, and I thought it was interesting, so I opted for that color scheme.
Many thanks once again to Glassman. A huge hole on my Superman shelf is now filled.
